Established in 1989 by the late Fred Luster,
Sr., as the philanthropic arm of Luster Products,
Inc., the Black Heritage Foundation is a non-profit,
charitable foundation whose primary purpose is to
support community-based organizations that promote
positive values, community service and aspirational
role models for the African-American community.
The Luster Products Black Heritage Foundation, has
supported many worthwhile causes for more than twelve
years. Over the years, the Foundation has contributed
to such organizations as the American Cancer Society,
Habilitative Systems, Lawndale Community School
and The Rising Star.
To date, more than a quarter of a million dollars
has been distributed to beneficiary organizations.
With the Foundation's ongoing support, the candles
of hope that these organizations provide continue
to shine brightly throughout the African American
community.
