Daddy Did It: Step-By-Step How To
A man's biggest hair challenge can be when it's his turn for Daddy & Daughter "princess-prep time." On days like this, Daddy's normal toolbox won't help. He needs combs and brushes, bows and barrettes. Most of all, he needs Luster's Pink® Original Oil Moisturizer Lotion enriched with Provitamin B5 and Vitamin E. It not only helps detangle your lil angel's hair but it'll also smooth and add shine to her pretty ponytail.
Want to create the perfect Pony Twist? Here's what you'll need:

Luster's Pink® Conditioning Shampoo and RevitaLEX™ Conditioner
Luster's Pink® Hair Lotion
A large tooth comb to detangle her hair.
A natural bristle brush to smooth the ponytail.
A non-rubberized elastic band to secure the ponytail
And her favorite barrette to make her look like a princess.
For the best results with any style for your little one, start with freshly cleaned hair. Use Luster's Pink® Conditioning Shampoo and RevitaLEX™ Conditioner designed to detangle, condition and moisturizer her hair. Shampooing and conditioning her hair weekly will help keep her hair healthy and easier to manage. What's more, GroComplex3000 Hairdress can be used on her scalp to help promote hair growth and will also help keep her healthy- looking between shampoos. Again, weekly maintenance is very important to keep her hair beautiful.
Easy Steps to Create The Perfect Pony Twist with Pink® Original Hair Lotion
- To make your baby girl's hair "daddy perfect" every time, start with a dime-sized amount of Pink® Original Hair Lotion into your palm. Rub palms together and apply to your daughter's hair to moisturize and detangle her hair prior to combing.
When her hair is detangled it makes "Princess-prep time" easier and more fun for both you and her.
- Comb through the hair to distribute it evenly. Use a large tooth comb and start at the ends of hair and comb upward to the scalp until hair is detangled.
Then, brush hair into a smooth ponytail and secure with a non-rubberized elastic band. Then brush top and sides of her hair to make sure there are no fly-aways.
- When ponytail is secured, divide the ponytail into equal hair parts. Dad, this is a great bonding time for you and your little princess.
- Start slowly twisting the sections of her ponytail, right over left in a rounded motion. Repeat the twisting motion to the end of the ponytail.
- For a tightly twisted pony, repeat the twisting motions several times. The more circular motions, the tighter the ponytail twist will be. It'll be fun to count with her how many times the princess goes over the bridge as you repeat each twisting motion.
- Hold the tip of the ponytail and secure it by wrapping the end once around the closure of her favorite barrette. Snap it close. Then tell her she's the most beautiful princess in all the land.
- Now you Daddy have done it! You've created the perfect pony twist!
